As Roel sat down on Bunny’s other side, the Emperor ended up sitting all by himself across from them.

When Kiriel spoke with an impassive expression, the Emperor shrugged his shoulders and let out a deflating laugh.

Bunny answered and quickly reached out to grab a teddy bear-shaped choco, popping it straight into her mouth.

Bunny covered her small mouth with both hands, looking at the Emperor with trembling eyes.

The Emperor’s eyes widened slightly, and he began rubbing his chin with a serious expression. After staring at Bunny for a moment, the Emperor finally spoke.

Kiriel chose silence instead of a reply, but the Emperor didn’t mind at all, as if he hadn’t expected one.
“It’s Bunny’s super cool phoenix!!! It’s huge and super strong!”

Unable to understand a word, the Emperor just smiled quietly and nodded in agreement. At any rate, it seemed to mean it healed him and made him healthy.

They were people wearing pure white masks on their faces and pitch-black clothes on their bodies, and in their midst was someone in extremely ragged clothes, shackled in iron chains with a cloth over their head.
The men in black clothes yanked off the cloth and forced the man to his knees.

At the Emperor’s light gesture, the men silently bowed their heads in response.

Snow-white hair.
Deep purple eyes.
The only thing revealed in those dull, lifeless eyes was utter stillness.
Bunny’s eyes went wide at the sight of the being who hung its head as if dead, mumbling something like a dazed person.
Young master. If you ever meet someone with pointy ears and black skin and they don’t speak properly, I’ll tell you what to do.
