190 - Chapter 190
Extracurricular Story 12.
Like a cunning and sly fox, the lion intended to coax his innocent wife into taking a bath together.
He would draw warm water, sit Olivia on his lap, and spend a fragrant time with her. He would caress her black hair, which would sway gracefully in the water like a fish's fins, with his fingers. He would lather her hair himself, and rub her smooth, white skin with fine soap bubbles.
Then, he would tilt his head and steal a kiss.
All the way in the car, holding hands, Noah had been making such plans.
But there were a few problems with this ambitious plan...
First, Olivia Rosemond Astrid was not innocent.
There was nothing to say about this. It was none other than he himself who had corrupted the innocent Olivia, who had even learned about lovemaking from books, with all sorts of things.
Second, he couldn't really suggest just taking a bath purely.
Saying that they should shower together to save water sounded like nonsense even to him, and among the 'all sorts of things' that had corrupted Olivia, there were many acts that had taken place in the bathroom.
Third, he had already satisfied Olivia.
"Haa..."
This was the worst mistake.
While waiting for Olivia in the Crystal Hall, he had vowed again and again.
Never touch her in the Royal Palace.
But that ironclad vow retreated a step the moment he embraced Olivia as she got out of the carriage.
'Never touch her' turned into 'Only touch her until Olivia is just about to be satisfied.'
He swore to the heavens, he only intended to kiss her in the empty room of the Royal Palace. He couldn't bear it without kissing her, so he had just gone into any empty room...
"I'm going crazy."
Noah roughly ran his hand over his face.
Damn it.
From experience, once it was cut off like that, it was very difficult to seduce her again.
"I should have stopped at the fingers."
It was a lingering reflection for Noah Astrid, who usually didn't reflect at all. His gaze, which had been running over his face several times, suddenly landed on a luxurious box. Noah blinked slowly and picked up the box.
The dark green leather box with gold trim around the edges seemed to imply that the contents were very expensive. When he lifted the crown-shaped clasp buckle, it opened easily with a click.
Inside the box, a wristwatch with a vibrant green dial was carefully wrapped in pearl-colored silk.
Noah carefully took out the wristwatch. It should have felt the unique coldness of metal, but perhaps because it contained warm light, or perhaps because it contained Olivia's heart that had chosen this green dial, it felt warm. Moreover, it fit his wrist perfectly without any need for alteration.
'I thought about it for a long time before buying it. I hope you like it, but I don't know what you'll think.'
He could picture her agonizing over choosing a watch that would suit his wrist. At that moment, the quantitative value of the watch became meaningless to Noah.
Noah looked at the simple bouquet of flowers placed neatly on the table next to the sofa. Olivia had been holding that bouquet the whole time and had placed it here herself.
What was it, she said she would pick out a vase that would suit these flowers herself?
She had held that cheap bouquet, smelled it several times, and said 'It's pretty, thank you, I like it.' So how ridiculous was his past, when he had people fill a room with expensive jewels and dresses, and demanded her happiness in return?
Where in the world was there such cheap happiness?
A picturesque smile formed on Noah's lips.
At that moment, a small, light footstep was heard in his sensitive hearing. He raised his head and looked at the door, and the doorknob turned slightly. And through the gap in the opened door, his world, his everything, with a white and elegant forehead and a waterfall of thick black hair, revealed herself.
Noah smiled at her with all his heart.
"Liv."
"Liv."
It was a name he had heard hundreds, thousands of times, but why did his heart flutter every time?
Was it because your tone was engraved in my heart, or was it because I was falling in love like it was the first time every moment?
Even in a perfect outfit that would be acceptable to attend a banquet right away, he exuded a sensual feeling. Below his neatly combed-back forehead, his straight eyebrows and long eyes gave off a somewhat challenging feeling. But when the moist blonde hair covered his forehead, his challenging eyes transformed into a bewitching feeling.
Olivia tried to hide her expression, trying not to look between the opened gown as much as possible.
Ha, how could he do that in the Royal Palace where people come and go, in a room that hasn't even been checked for soundproofing...!
The more she thought about it, the more embarrassed she felt.
Olivia put down the white flower vase she had brought and asked casually on purpose.
"Do you like it?"
Then Noah looked down at his wrist and smiled.
"Yeah. I like it."
"I'm glad. There were quite a few designs. And the colors were quite diverse? This is a platinum design, but there was also a gold design. I was agonizing over which one to get, but looking at it like this, I think I bought the right one."
"Thank you."
Olivia's heart fluttered greatly at the quiet gratitude.
"Thank you, Liv. I'll use it well."
Looking at Olivia, who was shyly smiling with her red lips curled, Noah felt his lower back stiffen again. He wanted to lean over and kiss Olivia's lips right away, but on the other hand, it had been a long time since he had sat alone with her, so he wanted to enjoy this time a little longer.
He hugged Olivia's back as she sat next to him and rested his chin on her moist crown. Olivia naturally snuggled into his arms and leaned her head against his chest. She could feel the thumping of his heart against her ear.
"How was the tour?"
"There were fun things and hard things."
"It must have been like pouring a cup of fun into a sea of hardship."
Olivia giggled, and Noah closed his eyes and listened to her laughter. A gentle voice seeped into the laughter that continued for a while.
"Um, I was hungry sometimes. So I bought food locally and ate it in the carriage, you know?"
"Is that so?"
"At first, I was really hungry, so I ate it as a snack, but I guess I was bored with the long travel time, so I started to wonder about the taste regardless of my hunger."
"So?"
"I bought and ate them one by one. I had to be careful not to spill it on my well-dressed clothes, so I covered my knees with a large cloth and ate."
A smile formed on Noah's lips as he pictured Olivia eating diligently with a large cloth on her knees. He opened his eyes and stared at Olivia.
"Hehe, Usher too?"
"Is there any way to beat boredom? I had to eat at least that much to pass the time."
"I understand. What was the most delicious?"
"Almost everything was delicious. But if I had to pick one, it was the one I ate when I stopped by Pabeang. It was a wide, thin pancake with bananas, chocolate, cream, and a lot of other things..."
Just hearing about it was sweet.
"It must have been a lump of sugar."
"A lump of sugar? Noah, it was so delicious."
"My wife likes sweet things."
"I need something sweet to keep my spirits up."
"Yes, if you say so."
Noah chuckled and hugged Olivia tightly. Her soft, warm body exuded a fragrance that could not be compared to anything else in the world. As the heartwarming scent permeated his lungs, he finally felt like he had returned home.
Noah kissed Olivia's temple and asked more about her time that he didn't know about.
"I heard that Usher's security team was so eager to go with you. I heard that Sir Howard followed you too."
"Eager? I don't know. It felt like they were taking turns."
Noah burst out laughing at her innocent answer.
"Yes, let's just say that."
"Say hello to them if you meet them. They were very considerate of me, so I was comfortable."
Of course.
If they hadn't made her comfortable, Noah would never have sent Olivia like that.
