The Consequences of Messing with the Original Work

I possessed a background character in the original story—
and then got knocked out cold when my father hit me over the head with a liquor bottle.

Three days later, when I finally opened my eyes, I—now "Seraphy"—decided the first thing I had to do was kick my father out.
Even if it meant being labeled a disgrace, I had to survive, didn’t I?

I was going to strip that violent, gambling-addicted father of his title,
revive our ruined noble house, and find a way back to my original world!

“I’ve found the land abandoned by the gods!”

That’s how I ended up interfering with the original plot,
and became Countess Validus, blessed by the gods.

“I’m thinking of starting a business…”
“You want to enter the Magic Tower?”
“This bill has way too many flaws!”
“Want to try getting a sponsor?”
“Maybe I’ll build a school?”

I kept meddling—completely guilt-free.

And then...

“My lady! No—my lord!”
“Seraphy, I want to serve under you.”
“If Seraphy says it, of course I believe it.”
“The Countess is the hope of this nation.”
“Will you accept me?”

All I ever wanted was to make some money and live comfortably.
So why are they all lining up, swearing loyalty, treating me like some kind of savior?
Seraphy honestly had no idea.
