To take revenge on her husband who betrayed their country, Adelaide returns from the brink of death.

In order to exact her vengeance, Adelaide resolves to use Kadis, her husband's innocent younger brother, intending to let him go once her revenge is complete. After all, while Kadis may have believed he was holding a Holy Grail, she knew she was nothing but a Poisoned Chalice.
