Not A Saint, But A Celestial Maiden [Novel]

“Fairy, you’re like me. So you must help people.”

Every time my mother said that, I made the same vow:
that I would never live as a shaman like her.

And yet—after spending my life running from the gods, only to die because of them—
I ended up in a Western romance-fantasy world where such vows mean nothing!

But then…

[Can you hear my voice? From this moment on, you are the Saintess we have chosen!]

No, seriously. Why are the gods here calling me a fairy too?!

[Your late grandmother is lingering around that man.]
“My James, have you been well?”
“G-Grandma…?!”

With a flashy snap of my wrist, I swung the bells.

“The woman you’re planning to marry—absolutely not!”

I rejected this kind of life so fiercely in my previous life that it killed me.
So why am I doing this all over again…?

And as if that weren’t enough, when I went to meet the emperor on the gods’ orders, the killing intent pouring off him was no joke.

“A so-called Saintess from some ancient legend? This isn’t a child’s game.”

…I have to persuade this man to prevent the end of the world?
Why did it have to be a religion-hating emperor?!
