Lucella lost her only blood relative, her older sister, and is now raising her sister's son, Lucian, all by herself.
One day, she suddenly realizes that this world is actually inside a book—and that in the distant future, Lucian is destined to grow up to be the villain. Not just any villain, but a horrific antagonist who gets brutally murdered (惨景) after tormenting the story's protagonist!
"I can't let my adorable nephew die!"
To keep her promise to her sister and save the nephew she loves, she vows to raise Lucian to be a good and upright child instead of a villain.
However...
"Auntie, I really want you to marry the Marquis."
The kid is supposed to be focusing on growing up well, but instead, he keeps saying the strangest things.
"My uncle is a bit lacking as a husband for you, but... well, his face is at least worth looking at."
Even the girl who is supposed to be the "Original Heroine" is seriously trying to set her up on a blind date.
"I agree with that opinion."
And the Heroine’s uncle is busy nodding his head along to these ridiculous suggestions.
"I'm sorry, but I have no intention of getting married until I have raised Lucian to be an upright person." "Does that mean... as long as Lucian is raised properly, you'll do it?" "W-well, that's..." "Understood."
As if that wasn't enough, why is everyone's eyes sparkling with such intensity?!
