Kaiden frowned at the creepy sensation, but Yuanna was relentless.
“I… I don’t know, really.”
Soon, she buried her face in his shoulder and breathed out a sensual sigh. Her hot, humid breath touched his skin.

Kaiden frowned deeply and threw Yuanna down as if discarding her. He couldn’t stand it, he felt so disgusted.

Kaiden hurriedly stepped back, struggling to suppress the urge to abandon them both. But if he did that, he might be distrusted and hated by Margaret.

Kaiden sighed and hoisted Yuanna, who was sitting on the ground and sobbing, onto his shoulder.

But this time, Diego drew his sword and spouted nonsense.
“Why don’t you put down the sword before you say that?”
Kaiden avoided the sword slashing through the air and lightly jumped up with Yuanna in his arms. Diego’s sword was stuck in the spot where he had been standing.
‘That crazy bastard.’
Kaiden swallowed his curse and glared at Diego.
“My whole body is burning up, I feel like I’m going crazy. So please… please do something to me, Lord.”
Diego frowned with a pained expression, and tears streamed down his face.
“Lord, me too…”
And Yuanna, who was in Kaiden’s arms, also twisted her body as if in pain and sobbed. Her body was already burning hot.

At that moment, Diego charged again. Kaiden jumped onto a fallen tree trunk, dodging Diego’s sword.

Diego’s longsword caught on his foot.
Kaiden bent down, picked up the longsword, and carefully examined it. The handle was engraved with the lion and lily emblem, symbolizing the Imperial Guard of the Langrid Empire.
“I should have brought a weapon with me too.”
There were many Magical tools that could be used without injecting Mana. If he had brought just one of them, he could have used it as effectively as the sword Diego had.
Kaiden sighed and leaned his back against the tree trunk, sitting down heavily.
‘I’m dying to use Mana.’
Then there would be so many things he could do on this island.
Kaiden leaned his head against the tree trunk and looked up at the sky. The moon that had risen above the dark sky was unusually bright.
“Haa… I’m tired. I wonder if Margaret is okay?”
The Red Flower that had caused Yuanna and Diego to have seizures probably didn’t only bloom in the place where they were. If so, then the flower might bloom in the place where Margaret was too…
