Chapter 125
Fortunately, the magic circle was completed just before my legs gave out, and the completed magic circle seeped into Enoch's shoulder area.
I sat down, watching the torn and open wounds gradually heal.
"Margaret!"
Two men grabbed me at the same time.
"I'm okay. I'm just a little tired. I'll be fine if I rest."
I leaned against the tree trunk, sat on the ground, and sighed.
Meeting Enoch and Kaiden relieved my tension, and the fatigue that had been piling up came all at once. Moreover, I had used Mana, so the aftermath seemed even worse.
I sat with a tired face and looked down at my smooth stomach, where the wound had completely healed. The ribs that I thought had cracked before didn't hurt anymore.
"This island seems to have an unusually fast recovery rate."
As I said that, I covered my mouth and yawned. I felt strangely sleepy.
Enoch looked at me, putting on his tattered shirt, and Kaiden, who sat back down next to me, nodded.
"Well, hair and beards don't grow here either. Considering that we can't use Mana, it seems like a space that exists in a completely different time-space."
It's true that we're in a different time-space.
'I'm a little dizzy.'
I felt a sudden dizziness and touched my forehead. Enoch and Kaiden looked at me at the same time, as if they had been watching my every move closely.
"Are you okay?"
Kaiden asked me. Did he ask if I was okay? I blankly looked up at him.
Come to think of it, how long has it been since I came to this island?
It seems like it's been four months already, but when will I be able to escape? Kaiden used to carry the bag with the wooden board on which I wrote the dates, but did he lose it?
Haa.
I felt a lot of heat rising in my body.
Well, since coming to this island, I've suffered all kinds of hardships alone, but except for when Diego stole the dress, I haven't been seriously ill.
'That was even stranger.'
"Margaret."
Enoch's large hand carefully lifted my chin. His Golden Eyes were in my view.
"You don't look good."
Enoch scanned my face thoroughly, examining my complexion. Kaiden also put the back of his hand on my forehead and said.
"You seem to have a fever? Your forehead is burning. It's pretty serious."
If he says it's pretty serious, it seems like I'm really in bad shape. I slowly blinked and leaned back against the tree trunk languidly.
"I'm okay. I'll be fine if I sleep a little."
"Is there anywhere else you're hurt? Or are you poisoned?"
Kaiden fussed over me, examining my body. I felt exhausted and slowly blinked, shaking my head.
"It's nothing like that. I'm okay."
I wondered if Enoch was blaming himself again for treating him. I just think it's a bad cold.
My eyelids went down heavily, as if weights were attached to them. I couldn't use my strength.
"I'm okay... I just... think it's a cold..."
"Margaret?!"
With Kaiden's urgent call, I lost consciousness.

I vaguely regained consciousness.
My body was shivering and I felt so cold that I couldn't stand it. It felt like I had been thrown naked into a snowfield in the middle of winter.
No matter how severe the daily temperature range is, I shouldn't be feeling this cold in a tropical climate.
"Margaret, you're awake? Are you okay?"
"Damn it, your body is still cold. Can't we use Mana anymore?"
"If we use Mana here, Margaret might really be in danger."
Kaiden and Enoch's urgent voices came and went. I felt thick arms wrapped around me, front and back, around my shoulders and waist.
I struggled to lift my trembling eyelids. Enoch's face came into view.
My lips trembled from the cold. As my body trembled along with it, the arms wrapped around my waist tightened even more.
"Margaret, are you still cold?"
Kaiden's urgent voice came from behind me.
"Are you conscious?"
Enoch asked me anxiously from the front.
'What's going on?'
Even though I opened my eyes, it wasn't easy to figure out the situation.
Enoch was bare-chested, with his arms around my shoulders, and Kaiden seemed to be hugging my waist from behind. As expected, I felt the touch of bare skin on my back as well.
But the bewilderment was only fleeting. I was too dizzy and cold to bear it.
"Cold..."
Now my mouth was frozen, and I could only tremble without being able to speak.
As I shivered and curled up, the two men pressed their bodies even closer. The thick skin touched without any gaps.
The two men had taken off their tops and were hugging me from the front and back, maintaining my body temperature.
"Eunji, we need to burn more fire."
At Kaiden's words, I struggled to lift my head. Then I saw Eunji next to us, diligently blowing fire into the firewood.
Eunji stopped blowing fire at Kaiden's words and jumped up and down with an angry face, as if asking why when she was working so hard.
Then, when she met my eyes, she fidgeted and spun around before diligently lighting the firewood again.
"Doesn't Margaret's body seem colder? At this rate..."
"Don't say ominous things."
"Damn it."
Kaiden finally cursed.
I leaned my cheek against Enoch's warm chest. Kaiden, who was hugging me from behind, buried his face in my shoulder and rubbed his moist lips. I only felt the warmth of his breath on my shoulder, and I couldn't have deep feelings about the annoying touch of his lips.
Fortunately, the two men tended to have a lot of body heat, so I felt less cold than before.
'But... what an embarrassing position.'
I felt like I wanted to hide in a rat hole. But it was definitely effective in raising my body temperature.
It was obvious who suggested this method, but it was somewhat surprising that Enoch agreed to it.
I struggled to gather my thoughts. I had to say something. I gritted my teeth and put strength into my trembling lips.
"What is this..., ahem."
I opened my mouth like that, but a ridiculously hoarse voice came out, so I closed my mouth for a moment and cleared my throat. What a shame in this atmosphere.
"Margaret? Are you okay?"
"How's your body?"
Kaiden and Enoch sat up at the same time and asked, looking at my face in turn. As soon as they moved away from me, a chill rushed in.
"Margaret."
Enoch called me once more in a gentle voice, and I grabbed his arm, shivering. He looked down at me with a puzzled expression.
'What should I do? Should I say it even though it's embarrassing?'
After agonizing over it dozens of times, I felt a bone-chilling cold in the wind and let out a silent scream. I hastily put on Enoch's jacket and Kaiden's robe, but it still wasn't enough.
"Ah, could you do what you did earlier?"
"What?"
At my words, Enoch and Kaiden looked down at me with puzzled faces. I curled up and frowned, shivering from the cold. Damn it, why can't they understand?
"Because it's cold, hug me."
I said more clearly than before.
With those words, silence flowed for a moment.
'If there was such a thing as death by embarrassment, I would be dead now.'
A sense of self-loathing began to creep in with the continued silence.
'I shouldn't have said it, damn it.'
Then, breaking the silence, Kaiden exclaimed and turned my body to lie down.
"Wow, Margaret. Can't you say it while looking at me too?"
"...I don't think I misheard."
Enoch's sigh followed.
They seemed unable to escape from the lingering feelings of what I had said, but I didn't have the mind to care about such things. So I ended up swallowing my tears and shouting.
"Ah, come on! Just hug me! I'm cold!"
The two men looked surprised at the cry full of annoyance. Then Kaiden burst into laughter.
I didn't even know where to put my eyes because the view was already a feast of flesh, but they kept stalling. I made a crying face and turned my head. Still, as I spoke, my mind gradually became clearer. It was still cold, though.
It seemed like we were still inside the Barrier. We were lying on the dirt floor with large leaves spread out as blankets, but the sleeping arrangements weren't very good anyway.
Enoch lay down in front of me again, put his arm around my shoulder, and patted the back of my head. I leaned my cheek against his bare chest and tried to calm my embarrassing feelings. I felt like I was getting a fever in a different sense.
Then Kaiden hugged me from behind, rubbed his face against my shoulder like a cat, and laughed.
"Ah, this is so nice. Margaret told me to hug her."
"Don't be too clingy, in case Margaret is uncomfortable."
Enoch immediately intervened. Somehow, each sentence felt forceful and sounded fierce. It felt like the anger that had been suppressed was leaking out for a moment.
From behind, I heard Kaiden complaining that Enoch was keeping him in check.
I guessed that they had been bickering like that the whole time I was unconscious. Was that why they were both hugging me and sharing body heat?
Enoch didn't care and patted the back of my head gently.
'Why are they fighting over something like this?'
Anyway, it's warm, so it's okay. Thanks to that, I survived today.
