Erika: My Friend Is Obsessed with Me

Erika, an S-rank mercenary with overwhelming skill.

And Chaud, another S-rank mercenary who follows her around everywhere.

“Erika, let’s become a permanent pair. Pair up with me. Work only with me.”

“Why do you want to work with me so badly?”

“Because it pisses me off.”

“...What?”

“Just thinking about you running around with some useless bastard instead of me pisses me off so much I can’t even sleep.”

They were the same age. Both S-rank mercenaries. Even their terrible personalities were strangely similar.

Maybe they had unconsciously felt a sense of kinship with each other. That would explain how quickly they became close.

“Erika. There’s something I really want, and I think I’m going crazy because I can’t have it. If someone else takes it from me, it’ll be war. Seriously.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but why are you glaring at me while saying that? Did I steal it from you or something?”

“Every time you do that, I feel like crying.”

Years later, Erika couldn’t help but be completely bewildered.

“W-Why the hell are you acting like this?”

“I told you, Erika.”

He spoke in a low voice.

“If someone else takes it from me, it’s war.”
